AVLalert™ monitors Approved Vendor Lists(AVLs)/Approved Manufacturer Lists (AMLs) for Product
Change Notifications (PCNs) and End-of-Life (EOL) Notices from PCNalert’s daily updated PCN and
EOL database. Summary information is sent via email on a daily basis enabling users to drill into the
details of their affected parts, as well as the ability to view and review the manufacturer's original
documentation before making downstream decisions. Customers have provided PCNAlert with
10 million part numbers for daily PCN and Part EOL notification monitoring. AVLalert frees your staff
from clerical tasks such as manually searching supplier web sites, manually reviewing supplier
documents, manually forwarding supplier emails and other error-prone manual processes.
Your staff can now focus on all of the resolution processes that add value.
The daily AVLalert email delivery is configured for each individual user. Delivery can be based on
Commodity Codes, Site Codes, Customer Codes, Program Codes, etc.. AVLalert is not a spam
system since the emails only contain information that is pertinent to the user’s specific role.
Your parts list can be updated as frequently as you like because AVLalert's Delta Process will
recognize components that are added to your list and process them. The Delta Process will
automatically perform an historical scrub on the new parts in order find any historical events
before daily monitoring begins.
In many cases, our customers receive notices for custom components or receive notices that
contain customer specific or proprietary information. When using PCNAlert's Content Management
Services, these notices are also a part of the daily AVLalert email. No need to manage these notices
manually outside of the AVLalert process. One system, one solution.
BOMverifier brings together all of the critical component information that impacts the user's parts
list or BOM in one easy-to-use application. Product Change Notifications, End-of-Life notices,
cleansed part numbers, cleansed supplier names, datasheets, lifecycle data, RoHS compliance
documents, suggested cross references, and component environmental information are automatically
returned in minutes. BOMverifier provides the decision support information that enables users to
spend their time making choices instead of collecting data.
Compliance scrub: quickly ascertain the compliance of your Bill of Material or simple list of parts
showing multiple levels of compliance with similar and alternate sources.
Material weight scrub:
BOMverifier will compute total chemical weight for all chemicals based on MCD data. BOMverifier
supports the IPC-1752 Standard for Material Content Reporting.
Because BOMverifier will operate with a BOM or a simple list of parts, procurement professionals
can save time by using BOMverifier to check parts lists before sending them out for supplier quoting.
They can use the cross reference capabilities to research other suppliers as well.
