A common problem viewing items in websites is cause by the fact that
Windows® Internet Explorer has a pop-up blocker turn on by default. You can
temporarily disable pop-ups for a given visit to a website, or you
can disable them permanently for a trusted site. Below you will find
instructions for how to do either.
The image below shows what the alert bar of your Internet Explorer
browser will look like if you have visited a page with a pop-up which
has been blocked.
When you see the alert bar warning that a pop-up has been blocked, clicking on the alert bar gives you a couple options. Both are explained below.
This setting allows you to specify that whenever you visit this site
pop-ups should be allowed. This is the recommended configuration for
trusted websites so that you can be sure not to miss any important
information that is displayed in a pop-up.
Temporarily allowing pop-ups is a quick way to view the full content
of a site that you are not sure if you will be returning to. This
allows you to see pop-ups for the current visit to the website. Once
you leave the site, or close out of your web browser, pop-ups will
again be blocked on the site.
