This easy to use nsWare Eagle2Allegro app translates Eagle board and library xml format files into OrCAD®/Allegro® PCB Editor format files.
Both translations result in a board file. The symbols can easily be exported from the translated board file for further editing by using File -> Export -> Libraries.
The nsWare Eagle2Allegro app makes the transition from Eagle PCB Layout to OrCAD PCB Editor very easy. Library translation helps kickstart use of PCB Editor since you won’t have to start over creating new footprint libraries.
Eagle built in sample boards and libraries can also be translated.
Arduino boards can be translated for use in OrCAD/Allegro PCB Editor as well.
Note: This app has been included by default with the Cadence install. Please access the app from within your Cadence tools to use the latest version.
