OrCAD® Component Information Portal (CIP) is a comprehensive OrCAD CIS database management and online component research environment. Together with OrCAD Capture CIS, the OrCAD Component Information Portal enables design teams to quickly and cost-effectively realize the full benefits of a shared component database and effective component management process.

A flow chart that shows how component parametric data from Mouser, Arrow, Farnell, Newark, Digikey, and Future is imported directly into OrCAD CIP. From OrCAD CIP, this information can be moved into the OrCAD CIS database and OrCAD Capture.
