    In OrCAD X 25.1, two new features have been added to enhance the PCB layout: true type fonts and copy-paste layout.

    TrueType Fonts in OrCAD X 25.1

    When adding text in OrCAD X, now you can select a font from a variety of included fonts to easily add text and silkscreen to your designs. This font type and size can be modified after placement with easy adjustment in the properties panel.

    Copy-Paste Layout Functionality in OrCAD X 25.1

    The Copy-Paste Layout feature allows designers to copy a variety of design information for reuse in the same design or a completely new design. This allows designers to select objects from multiple layers, define an origin for the copied layout, and define layers and information for the pasted design elements to accelerate the PCB layout process.
