PSpice comes with 10’s of thousands of library parts from many different vendors and regions. The sheer volume of parts that you are presented with can make it hard to find the kind of part that you’re looking for. If you know the exact number of the part you’re looking for that certainly makes it easier, but what if you just want to find something more generic without knowing the exact part number?

Most SPICE simulators are really good at simulating circuits and showing you what the outputs will be but, on their own, they don’t do anything to bring attention to components that may be stressed or overloaded.

Have you encountered hanging wires and overlaps with Capture wires and want to be able to find these quickly? With version 16.6, you can easily find these errors throughout your design using the custom DRCs.

Graphing the Open Loop Gain of a circuit can be a challenging and time consuming task in PSpice because of a few difficulties with the tool that have been overcome in the latest hotfix (V16.6 S017).

PSpice 16.6 now provides IBIS model simulation capability. This often requested feature supports: SPICE circuit generation for all IBIS versions, Support for V-T curves, Analog simulation of XNets (use Advanced Analysis tools for smoke analysis on bypass components).
